SUMMARY TALENT MANAGEMENT DAY 15.03.

Talent Management Day - Managing international talent

On March 15, more than 70 international guests and students joined our discussion “managing international talent – the challenge of bridging cultures”.

In the afternoon, more than 20 top HR and TM decision makers from Renault, Mazars, Beiersdorf, Deutsche Bahn, Arriva, Bombardier Transportation, Schneider Electrics, Kathrein, Ableton & Babbel from Germany and the UK followed our invitation and joined our exclusive round table on global talent management.

In the evening, we then discussed some of the challenges and best practices associated with identifying, recruiting and managing multicultural and diverse talent pools, as well as finding a balance between global standardization and local adaption of talent management practices with our panel, consisting of:

Kay Forster, Direktor Personal & Recht RENAULT Deutschland, who represented the corporate partner of the recently founded „Renault Chair for Intercultural Management” at the ESCP Europe commented on the event: “The discussion with HR colleagues from multinationals as well as smaller start-ups helped us to get a better and broader view of future challenges concerning Global Talent Management. We at Renault strongly believe that a consistent Global Talent Management system is key for future success in our industry that is facing huge changes. However, the way we execute our global talent management strategy on local level will definitely make the difference.”
