On October 6, Prof. Marion Festing, Academic Dean of the Talent Management Institute participated in the DGFP // Kompetenzforum Global Talent Management with Daimler in Stuttgart, Germany. In her keynote “When in Rome, do as the Romans? Balancing global and local challenges to Global Talent Management”, she discussed the following questions:

• What are “Global Talents” and what does Global Talent Management entail?
• What are the specific challenges and opportunities of Global Talent Management?
• How to balance effectively global standardization efforts with local specificities?

The program itself covered many interesting topics and new insights from Daimler, the CIPD, Dentsply Sirona, HRForecast and ING from the Netherlands.

It was an interesting event with great discussions and presentations. We are already looking forward to our next event together with the DGFP.
